Zip Zap provides award winning weekly drama, music and sensory classes for children under 5.

At Zip Zap, we strongly believe that cognitive and communication skills can be learnt at this young age through drama and music. Our team have seen first hand the effect that drama can have on confidence and concentration during childhood – whether it is the ability to jump up and join in a role-play scenario or for the Baby Zappers skills such as grasping objects and coordination exercises. These can have a profound and life long effect on children.

Communication and language development

Songs are an excellent introduction to language. The rhythm beats and sounds, which are used in Zip Zap classes, help children form words and help Little Zappers gain a broader range of language.

Physical development

Every class starts with a physical warm up which Little Zippers are encouraged to join in. This not only gets children used to participating in group activities, but also highlights how they are able to use different parts of their bodies in different ways.

Personal, social and emotional development

Zip Zap aims to build confidence and self-esteem in social situations. Our team strongly believe that if this is encouraged at a young age then it sets the perimeters for later in childhood.

Numeracy skills

Almost every week at least one song will include numbers and counting. Often children will be given objects, which need to be counted. Our themes include Numbers and Shapes.

Zip Zap provide stimulating, creative and high energy sessions in nursery and preschool settings. Zip Zap can provide innovative lessons to allow all early years children to access learning across all learning abilities and needs.

Zip Zap offer 30 or 45 mins sessions depending on your schedule and budget.
